The 5-Axis articulated arm is a low cost entry to robotics, fast, accurate and reliable and easy to program. It has a long reach and therefore a larger and much more useful workspace then comparable machines. The mechanics are reliable, it is a easy to apply program yet is capable of the most intricate tacks. The robot uses new light weight, high speed, high efficiency stepping motors with encoder feedback. The package includes the controller which again is simple and reliable using a partnership of fast CPU and DSP processors and computer micro-stepping drives.
The software used makes this robot really easy to get started with yet the most complex motions, interfaces and peripherals may be programmed, assisted by a project manager which brings everything together on one screen. The 5AR is a complete self-contained five axis vertically articulated robot arm system designed as a cost effective solution for processes requiring long reach or difficult access. Applications include paint spraying, de-burning, handling. The hand terminates in a mounting plate for grippers, spray guns etc. All robot packs come complete with programming software which uses the most extensively used robot programming language.
The 5AR is supplied ready to run -- robot, controller, all cables, Windows projects management software, on screen and hard copy manuals.
