The Colour TV Trainer (CTVT) is ideal for the teaching of practical and theoretical principles of modern standard colour television. The complete circuit of colour TV Receiver is printed on a single PCB. The PCB is divided into colour coded sections to clearly identify different functions of the CTVT. More then 50 test points allow the analysis and monitoring of the signals in different sections. Fault simulation allows the introduction of common fault diagnostics and methods of fault rectification.
All the test points are protected against accidental short-circuits making the unit safe for students to use. Technical manual includes circuit diagram with component list of each section. Test point detail with typical voltages and wave form are provided in the manual. The trainer has been designed with sliding main board for ease of access that can be also locked when not in use. The CTVT can be also be used as a normal desktop colour TV receiver.
